The Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Facilities recently released a Battery Park Newsletter update.

It covers the May neighborhood meeting with City officials as well as updates on improvements to date as well as the plan for getting the park fully restored.

Now that the most critical task of completing the new sewer line has been accomplished, the City has turned its focus on improving the park and getting it open for the public to enjoy once again.

The newsletter has updates from Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities as well as Public Works with estimated completion dates of the various tasks that will return Battery Park back into the neighborhood resource for all to enjoy.
